I'm a second-year student at Ivy Tech Community College pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Since around 2020, I've been programming open-source tools to help solve practical problems. Over 2 years of that time was spent in my CS classes teaching my fellow students as a peer tutor. These experiences sharpened my skills as a programmer as well as an educator. I've subsequently gained an extensive skillset in several programming/scripting languages,
such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, Lua, C++, C#, and Java.
Generally, I find that my love for computer science comes from the sheer broadness of the field. My passions range from data science to game development to reverse-engineering to many other things. I often spend my free time flipping through books, perusing academic papers, watching lectures, and iterating on personal projects pertaining to these topics.
But I've heard that one good learning experience is more valuable than ten books, so I'm always looking for ways to push myself to learn and to improve my understanding. Wanna see what I've managed to do so far? Check out my portfolio to see my progress in practice!
Who knew a Hoosier could be so good with a computer? (That rhymes, kinda).
